Olive oil tastings and conferences

There are several options if you and your friends or colleagues in eg. The gourmet club or company staff association wishes a guided tour in tasting olive oil. Olivoteque offers both simple tastings, dinners, pairing with food or conferences, where we go deeper into the subject. Long olive oil tasting

How do you choose an extra virgin olive oil? What are you looking for and tasting? Here we taste six different extra virgin olive oils, where you get insight into olive varieties, discuss the terroir and better understand the oils' strength, taste and smell as well as how to use the different oliveoils.
Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours.

Olive oil pairing with food

Taste three different kinds of oliveoils served with small dishes, so you can understand what an oliveoil can do for your cooking.
Duration: Approximately 2 hours
At least 10 participants. Price subject to request.

Dinner / Tasting with a chef

We meet at a restaurant or at your house where the chef prepares dishes that are matched specifically with the characteristics of the oils (details will be agreed upon).
Duration: Approximately 2.5-3 hours.
Price by arrangement.

Olive oil conference, learn to taste like the professionals

Are you curious and want to go further? Understand better: the production, the olive varieties and the extraction of extra virgin olive oil. We talk about the background of the varieties and the different countries, go through some of the deffects and taste simple dishes with different olive oils.
