Clermont l'Herault

In 1920, the olive oil cooperative was established in Clermont l'Herault with the aim of offering to press olives for all the surrounding small producers. The frost of 1956 had closed the six existing mills in the area, so they entrusted the pressing of all the small farmers' olives to the cooperative. Today it has 1500 members. In 1974, the defense of the culture of the olive fields was established. In 2017, the AOP designation "Lucques du Languedoc" was obtained.

We have chosen both the Lucques and Piccholine ollies for Olivoteque. Piccholine received a gold medal in 2024 at the SALON DE L'AGRICULTURE in Paris.
