Liguria – Roi

We find the Boeri Roi family in the town of Badalucco in Liguria, close to the French border with the Côte d'Azur. The family has been growing the typical olive variety of Liguria "Taggiasca" for more than 125 years, it is the 4th generation at the helm now.

They are grown on the steep hillsides along the Valle Argentina and the proximity to the sea gives this oil its very own distinctive taste. It has a mild but characteristic taste with an aftertaste of almond, which is why it is highly valued by chefs all over the world.
