Huerta Los Caños is an Ultra-Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil, from organic farming, from Los Caños, an olive grove that has been owned by the Montabes family since the early 20th century.

It was in 1909 that Lorenzo Martínez and Adela Fuset bought, from the Count of San Miguel de la Vega, the hacienda “Los Tres Caños”, located between Baeza and La Yedra, with its extensive land and the centuries-old olive trees in the olive grove. Most of them were planted in the 17th century when the construction of the finca began. Five generations of the Montabes family have so far enjoyed the silence and peaceful atmosphere of the thick walls of the house and the silence of the olive grove.

The 1,200 Picual trees grow at 800m above sea level and are planted according to ancient traditions with large distances between the trees. The Montabe family's planting promotes sustainability and biodiversity and is used as fundamental factors in all their cultivation processes.

The harvest starts in late October, when the olives are in the early stage of ripeness, by gently shaking and hand-picking the olives, they are then transported with the greatest care to cold pressing at 20ºC.
